The country has a very unique form of government. It is a parliamentary co-principality. However, the princes are not hereditary nor do they even reside in the country. What legal lessons can be drawn from this example? The first lesson is that not every legal situation is a cookie cutter one. In litigation the parties can be so far apart that expensive litigation and a trial on the disputed issues is necessary. But more often than not common ground can be found by all if one allows innovation and creativity to be part of the conversation.
